Don’t panic — resetting your OTR password is super easy and takes just a few minutes.
Step-by-Step Guide to Reset OTR Password

Go to the OTR Login Page

Visit scholarships.gov.in

Click on Login → OTR Login.

Click “Forgot Password”

On the login page, you’ll see a link saying Forgot Password?

Click on it.

Enter Your OTR ID & Captcha
-
Type your 14-digit OTR number (sent to your registered mobile & email during registration).
-
Fill in the captcha code shown.

Verify Your Mobile Number
-
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP and click Verify.

Set a New Password
-
Choose a strong password (mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).

Confirm it by typing again.

Login Again
-
Go back to the login page.

Enter your OTR ID + new password + captcha and click Login.

Important Notes

You must have access to the registered mobile number to reset your password.

If your mobile number has changed, update it through the portal or by contacting the NSP Helpdesk at helpdesk@nsp.gov.in / 0120-6619540.

Password should be 8–16 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
